We are excited once again to have Teen Challenge Women with us @ Columbus Christian Center 146 South McCrary Rd. Sunday, January 20 @ 10:30. They are always a huge blessing to us.

I know it's late but I need to put on FB because one of my friends may need this. It's gonna be lengthy but worth it. You remember few years back watching a movie and it was interrupted for 30 seconds by a test of the Emergency Broadcast System? Those were a lot like the trials that come into our lives. They're unscheduled, usually unwelcome interruptions, and they always come at the worst possible time. But unlike those test patterns on TV, life's trials don't last for 30 seconds and disappear. No, they can last for days, months and even years. And why they came may not always be clear to us. Trials can make us feel helpless, but we do have control over one vital element of a trial--how we respond to it. Trials are indispensable to our spiritual growth! In fact, we cannot grow as we should without them, as much as we might wish we could. ITS YOUR TEST THAT LEADS TO YOUR TESTIMONY!! (2 Cor. 4:15-18 TM)- "Every detail works to your advantage and to Gods Glory: more and more grace...more and more praise! So we're not giving up. How could we?! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace."

No one and no thing can make you do anything. That temptation you struggle with has no real power over you. The only power it has is the power you give it. However, if you can change your perception about that temptation, and agree with God’s Word that sin has no dominion over you, then sin will no longer have dominion.
Whether you lead a family, a business, or a church, the temptation to complain comes easy. Thank God for the rough times. They're the reason you're there--to be the leader. If everything was going well you wouldn't be needed. When the tough calls must be made, your confidence can be found in these words: "The Lord is on my side, I will not fear" (Psalm 118:8).
Lesson One: Jesus knows how you feel. Lesson Two: Jesus can give you back what life's taken from you. Lesson Three: Jesus can set you free. "Give me understanding, and I shall keep your law; indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me walk in the path of your commandments, for I DELIGHT in it". (Psalm 119:34-35 NKJV). When pray such a prayer your faith will grow, and the circumstances that seem impossible will be changed by GOD.
